Magelang - Thousands of Buddhists from various parts ofIndonesia this evening crowded the court of the temple of Borobudur, Magelang, Central Java. They commemorate VesakTrisuci BE 2555.
Activities centered on the court tonight Borobudur Temple. Thosewho attend worship service at the Borobudur Temple was derivedfrom various sangha or stream. They had previously participated inthe procession in Mendut and then conducted a processionprocession to Borobudur temple which is about 3 km.
Before doing meditation seconds of Vesak, performed a variety ofceremonial events that led directly by the Chairman of Walubi SitiHartati Murdaya. The event was also attended by Director General of the Hindu Buddhist Guidance Budi Setyawan. Vesak messageis being delivered Bante Wongsin Labikko Mahatera and BanteMahastavira.
In Vesak message delivered before the seconds Vesak,Mahastavira ordered that all human beings capable of voicing the peace and eliminate the greedy lust.
As the seconds Vesak which falls exactly at 18:00, 08 minutes ofthousands of Buddhists led by Bante Wongsin Labikko Mahaterameditation Vesak. Meditation is done by sitting cross-legged infront of the altar with silence for several minutes.
